About the work
A nine-foot portrait of the artist’s friend and muse Onyeka, made for the Nigeria 5 group exhibition at Corridor Contemporary, Tel Aviv.
The work celebrates women and their role in society, using lines, circles, squares and triangles as a symbolic pattern language. Its making is documented in the film The Life of an Artist: “Israel in Israel”.
